The IGI Foundation team arrived at Plateau State Specialist Hospital with warmth and purpose,
turning an ordinary weekday into a beacon of hope. Guided by hospital officials, the volunteers visited the paediatric,
maternity, and surgical wards, listening to patients’ stories and offering words of encouragement. In partnership with
the hospital’s management, the Foundation bedside supplies. Smiles broke out as each packs were distributed. Before
departing, IGI Foundation pledged ongoing support through quarterly follow‑up visits —leaving behind not just supplies,
but a renewed sense of community and compassion echoing through the halls of Plateau State Specialist Hospital.
The Ignatius Ihezie Foundation (IGIF) carried its mission of compassion and service to the Galadimawa community, reaching hearts and homes with love and support.
Elderly residents received free healthcare and medical attention, restoring hope and dignity. The children enjoyed a day of joy with fun games, laughter, and activities tailored just for them.
To ease the burden of hardship, financial support was extended to the needy, and essential food items were distributed to families in need — ensuring that no one was left behind.
It was more than an outreach; it was a reminder that kindness still lives, and communities thrive when we care for one another.
During one of its recent outreach efforts, the IGI Foundation paid a compassionate visit to a young girl who had fallen into crisis after an unplanned pre-marital pregnancy. Left to face the burden alone after the child’s father fled, she found herself vulnerable and without support. The Foundation offered her emotional encouragement, shared words of hope, and extended a helping hand to ensure she doesn’t walk her journey alone.
In the same spirit of empowerment, the Foundation also stopped by a local mini-trader marketplace, where a determined woman striving to grow her small business was identified. With a heart for community development, the Foundation supported her with a modest financial grant—encouraging her resilience and helping to strengthen her livelihood.
